Second baseman Jared Sprague-Lott led Lansing to its second straight win over Great Lakes on Saturday. The 24-year-old infielder walked and scored a run in the 1st inning, singled in a run then came around to score in the 2nd, and then slugged a solo shot in the 4th, and Sprague has now gone 9 for 25 with 7 walks in 7 games since the All-Star break. Center fielder Carlos Pacheco singled, tripled and drove in a run, while designated hitter Jake Reinisch singled, doubled and drove in 3 runs, and shortstop Ali Camarillo had a pair of hits and drove in a run for the Lugnuts. Starter Tucker Novotny gave up 2 runs in 2 innings of work, while RHP Tzu-Chen Sha allowed 1 run in 2 2/3 innings of relief to pick up the win, and RHP Abel Mercedes notched the final three outs to secure the save for Lansing.
