Down On The Farm With Lansing Lugnuts Pitcher Aiden McIntyre

Aiden McIntyre was born in Davis, California and attended Holy Names University in Oakland before being taken by the A’s in the 22nd round of the 2018 draft. The righthander led all A’s minor league pitchers with 150 strikeouts in 2019 while toiling for Beloit. This season, McIntyre’s moved on to the A’s new High-A affiliate in Lansing, and he’s also moved to the bullpen, where he’s notched 6 strikeouts in 3 2/3 scoreless innings over his first three appearances out of the Lugnuts bullpen.

McIntyre’s also been busy creating content for his YouTube channel, and we look forward to sharing some of his creations here this season. In this video, the hurler travels from spring training in Arizona to his new home in Lansing to start the season and also shares one of his favorite fast-food delicacies. You can check out his YouTube channel here and you can follow him on Twitter at @A_McIntyre50.
