Third baseman Bobby Boser helped the RockHounds register third straight win over the Missions on Thursday. Last year’s 11th-round draft pick for the A’s went 3 for 4, homered for the second straight night, swiped a pair of bases and scored twice. He’s now 8 for 12 with a pair of home runs and 6 RBIs over his last trio of games for Midland. Right fielder Clark Elliott slugged a solo shot, while second baseman Casey Yamauchi singled, doubled in a run, was hit by a pitch and stole a base, and shortstop Leo De Vries singled, walked and swiped his 31st stolen base. Starter Jackson Finley allowed 2 runs and struck out 8 through 5 frames to earn the win, while RHP Shohei Tomioka notched a scoreless 9th to record the save for the RockHounds.
