Right fielder Brayan Buelvas, who’s been one of the Aviators’ hottest hitters lately, had a big night on Friday. The 24-year-old Colombian outfielder slugged a solo shot in the 2nd inning and then socked another solo shot in the 4th. He also walked and scored a run in the 8th, and Buelvas has now gone 10 for 20 with 5 extra-base hits and 8 RBIs over his last 5 games for Las Vegas. Designated hitter Michael Stefanic went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double and drove in 3 runs, while catcher Bryan Lavastida belted a three-run homer, and left fielder Jared Dickey singled, walked twice and scored a run for the Aviators. Unfortunately, RHP Chen Zhong-Ao Zhuang had another rough start, surrendering 8 runs through 4 1/3 frames to suffer the loss for Las Vegas.
