LHP Jamie Arnold turned in his best start of the season to help the RockHounds register their fourth win in their last five games on Tuesday. Last year’s top draft pick for the A’s threw 7 shutout innings, allowing just 4 hits and 2 walks while notching 5 strikeouts to record the win for the RockHounds. Arnold threw 97 pitches, 63 for strikes, and his 57 strikeouts (in 53 2/3 innings) are now the second-most among A’s minor leaguers. Center fielder Ryan Lasko tagged a two-run homer and drew a walk, while left fielder Cameron Leary went 3 for 5 with a pair of doubles and scored twice, and shortstop Leo De Vries singled twice, doubled, drove in a pair and swiped his 17th stolen base for Midland.
