Center fielder Junior Perez helped lead Las Vegas to a one-run win over Reno on Wednesday. The 24-year-old outfielder went 3 for 5 with a game-tying RBI single in the 4th inning and a two-run homer to break a 3-3 tie in the 6th. Left fielder Jared Dickey singled, doubled, drew a pair of walks and scored a run, while shortstop Joshua Kuroda-Grauer went 3 for 5 with a triple and scored a run. Right fielder Cade Marlowe singled, tripled and drove in a run, and third baseman Tommy White singled, doubled and drove in a pair for the Aviators. With scheduled starter Mason Barnett getting the call to join the A’s on Wednesday, RHP Geoff Hartlieb made the emergency spot start and gave up 2 runs in 3 innings of work, while LHP Brady Basso allowed 1 run in 2 innings of relief to pick up the win, and RHP Nick Anderson notched the final three outs in the 9th to secure the save for Las Vegas.
