The Aviators notched their third straight victory over the Aces on Thursday. Left fielder Cade Marlowe, who was signed to a minor league deal in the offseason, tripled in a run in the 6th inning and doubled in a pair of runs in the 7th. He also stole a base and scored a run in the game, and Marlowe is now sporting a .324/.419/.622 slash line on the season. Third baseman Brett Harris singled twice, walked twice and scored twice, while shortstop Drew Swift doubled in 3 runs, including the tying run, in the 7th for the Aviators. Starter Kade Morris held the Aces scoreless through the first five frames, but he was tagged for 4 runs, 2 earned, before exiting with two outs in the 6th. RHP Eduarniel Nunez threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the victory for Las Vegas.
