Third baseman Davis Diaz and RHP Kyle Robinson led Lansing to its fifth win in its last six games on Saturday. The 23-year-old Diaz, who was the A’s 8th-round draft pick in 2024, collected 4 hits, including a double, reached base on a hit-by-pitch, drove in 3 runs and scored 3 times for the Lugnuts. Diaz is now 9 for 18 with 3 doubles and 4 walks while sporting a slash line of .500/.609/.667 on the young season. Catcher Dylan Fien singled, doubled, drew a walk and drove in 3, while left fielder Justin Riemer singled, walked twice, scored twice and stole a base. Second baseman Casey Yamauchi went 3 for 6 and drove in a pair, and right fielder Devin Taylor singled twice, scored twice and drew a walk for the Lugnuts. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old Robinson, who was the A’s 11th-round pick in 2024, turned in a solid start, allowing 1 run on just 2 hits and 4 walks through 5 frames to earn the victory for Lansing

The RockHounds recorded the win over the RoughRiders in 11 innings on Saturday. Shortstop Leo De Vries went 3 for 6 with a double, drove in a run and scored 3 times, while second baseman Joshua Kuroda-Grauer doubled twice, drove in a run and stole a base. Third baseman Tommy White doubled twice as well and drove in 3 runs, and designated hitter Brennan Milone singled in the winning run with one out in the top of the 11th for the RockHounds. RHP JJ Goss, who was the 36th overall pick in the 2019 draft, turned in a strong start, allowing 1 run on just 2 hits and 2 walks through 5 frames. He left the game with a four-run lead, but RHP Jared Johnson surrendered 3 runs in the 7th inning without recording an out. RHP Shohei Tomioka picked up the win despite allowing 2 runs, 1 earned, in 2 innings of relief, and RHP Stevie Emanuels tossed a scoreless frame in the bottom of the 11th to secure the save for Midland.

Stockton suffered a one-run loss to Fresno on Saturday. Starter Donny Troconis allowed 3 runs through 4 frames, while RHP Roberto Urdaneta gave up 2 runs in 2 2/3 innings of work, and LHP Brayan Restituyo surrendered 4 runs in just 1 1/3 innings of relief to take the loss for Stockton. Left fielder Myles Naylor singled twice, scored twice and drew a walk, while center fielder Carlos Pacheco and third baseman Bryan Andrade each collected a single and a double for the Ports.
