Daulton Jefferies turned in another solid start to help lead Las Vegas to victory over Sacramento on Saturday. Jefferies was near perfect, allowing just 1 hit over 4 1/3 scoreless frames while throwing 51 pitches, 34 for strikes. And the 25-year-old has now tossed a total of 8 1/3 shutout innings over his first pair of appearances for the Aviators this season. LHP A.J. Puk followed up by notching a pair of strikeouts over 1 2/3 scoreless and hitless innings to earn the victory for Las Vegas. Right fielder Skye Bolt singled, was hit by a pitch, stole a base and scored a run, while center fielder Buddy Reed singled twice and drove in a run, and shortstop Pete Kozma doubled in a pair for the Aviators.

The RockHounds registered their second straight win over the RoughRiders on Saturday. Center fielder Marty Bechina singled in the tying run in the 2nd inning and then tripled and scored what would prove to be the winning run in the 5th. Second baseman Logan Davidson singled, walked, stole a base and scored twice, while left fielder Chase Calabuig singled, drew a walk and drove in a run for the RockHounds. RHP Kyle Friedrichs made his first start since the first week of the season and allowed 1 run while throwing 33 pitches in just 1 1/3 innings of work, but tandem starter Chase Cohen was solid, throwing 3 2/3 scoreless innings to earn the win, and RHP Zach Jackson got the final three outs in the 9th to record the save for the RockHounds.

Lansing snapped its three-game losing streak on Saturday. Right fielder Jake Suddleson homered, singled twice, drew a walk and drove in 4 runs, while left fielder Austin Beck tripled, doubled, drove in a run and scored twice, and second baseman Elvis Peralta doubled in a run, drew a walk and stole a base for the Lugnuts. Starter Colin Peluse allowed 2 runs, 1 earned, over 5 frames to earn the win, while RHP Bryce Nightengale threw 3 scoreless and hitless innings in relief for Lansing.

Stockton suffered a walk-off loss to the Quakes as the team fell for the sixth time in its last seven games on Saturday. Starting pitcher Grant Judkins was charged with 4 unearned runs in 3 2/3 innings of work, while tandem starter Pedro Santos struck out 6 over 3 1/3 scoreless innings, and RHP Ed Baram surrendered a grand slam with one out in the bottom of the 9th to take the loss for Stockton. Catcher Tyler Soderstrom slugged a grand slam of his own in the 3rd inning to tie the game and also notched his league-leading 11th double, while left fielder Lazaro Armenteros went 4 for 4 with a pair of doubles to raise his average to a league-leading .431, and the 22-year-old has now notched 8 hits in his last 8 at-bats.
