The A’s set their Fall Instructional League roster on Tuesday. Camp will open in mid-September at the A’s minor league facilities in Arizona, and games are set to start on September 20.
A total of 59 players, 26 pitchers and 33 position players, are currently scheduled to attend. And some high-profile prospects like 2017 1st-round pick Austin Beck, 20-year-old Cuban outfielder Lazaro Armenteros, and soon-to-be-17-year-old switch-hitting Dominican shortstop Robert Puason, who was the A’s top international free agent signing this summer, will all be participating.
Also attending will be a number of the A’s top picks from this year’s draft, including shortstop Logan Davidson, outfielder Marcus Smith, catcher Kyle McCann, infielder Jalen Greer and pitchers Seth Shuman and Jose Dicochea.
