RHP Aiden McIntyre turned in an outstanding start to help the Snappers complete the sweep of their four-game series with Clinton on Tuesday. McIntyre allowed just 3 hits and struck out 9 while throwing 7 scoreless innings to earn the win for Beloit. The 23-year-old has now given up just 2 runs while striking out 18 in 13 innings over his last 2 starts for the Snappers, and his 122 strikeouts on the season are the most among all A’s minor leaguers. Third baseman Max Schuemann slugged a three-run homer and tallied his team-leading 12th stolen base, while center fielder Devin Foyle had a pair of hits, stole a base and drove in a run. Catcher John Jones, singled, walked, stole a base and scored a run, and first baseman Nick Ward singled twice, scored twice and drove in a run for the Snappers.

Starter James Naile gave up 5 runs over 6 innings of work to take the loss, while LHP Tyler Alexander tossed 2 scoreless innings of relief in his Midland debut. Left fielder Tyler Ramirez singled twice and drove in a run for the RockHounds in the loss. Meanwhile, Midland LHP Cody Stull landed on the injured list on Tuesday.

Right fielder Nico Giarratano led the Ports to victory in extra innings on Tuesday as Stockton won its third straight. Giarratano slugged a three-run homer in the top of the 10th inning to provide the margin of victory for the Ports, while first baseman Alfonso Rivas singled, doubled, drew a pair of walks and scored a run for Stockton. Starter Xavier Altamirano turned in a strong start, allowing 1 run on just 3 hits while striking out 6 over 8 innings of work. LHP Ty Damron tossed a scoreless frame in the bottom of the 9th to pick up the win, while RHP Nick Highberger notched the final three outs to secure his 6th save for Stockton.

The Lake Monsters had their four-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday. 23-year-old Cuban LHP Yorlenis Noa made the start and allowed 1 run while striking out 7 in 3 2/3 innings of work, while this year’s 17th-round draft pick for the A’s, RHP Vince Coletti, gave up 3 runs, 2 earned, in 2 innings of work to suffer the loss for the Lake Monsters. 18-year-old Colombian third baseman Jordan Diaz singled, homered, drew a walk and drove in 4 runs, while this year’s top draft pick for the A’s, shortstop Logan Davidson, had 3 hits, drew a walk and drove in a run for Vermont.
