With one swing of the bat on Tuesday, shortstop Edwin Diaz helped the RockHounds register their third straight win and run their record to an even .500. With the bases loaded, one out and the RockHounds down by a run in the bottom of the 7th, Diaz stepped to the plate and slugged a grand slam to provide the margin of victory for Midland. First baseman Luke Persico singled twice and drew a walk, while center fielder Luis Barrera tripled and walked, and designated hitter Nate Mondou singled, drew a walk and drove in a run for the RockHounds. RHP Parker Dunshee delivered a solid start, allowing 2 runs, just 1 earned, over 5 1/3 frames, while RHP Angel Duno threw 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win, and RHP Trey Cochran-Gill tossed 2 scoreless frames to record the save for the RockHounds.

Las Vegas logged its eighth win in its last nine games to run its record to a league-best 11-2 on Tuesday. Right fielder Tyler Ramirez ripped a three-run homer in the 2nd inning to give the Aviators an early lead. But starter Jake Buchanan gave up 4 runs, 3 earned, over 6 frames and left the game with Las Vegas down by a run. Third baseman Sheldon Neuse singled twice, swiped a pair of bases and drove in the winning run in the top of the 9th, while catcher Sean Murphy singled, doubled and drew a walk, and left fielder Mark Payton and first baseman Eric Campbell both doubled in runs for the Aviators. LHPs Kyle Lobstein and Wei-Chung Wang and RHP Miguel Romero each tossed 1 scoreless inning in relief, with Romero recording his 1st victory for Vegas. Meanwhile, the A’s activated RHP Chris Bassitt from the injured list and assigned him to Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Stockton let an early lead slip away on Tuesday to suffer the loss in the second game of their three-games series in San Jose. Left fielder Lazaro Armenteros singled, walked and tagged a two-run homer in the top of the 1st, while third baseman Jonah Bride had a pair of hits, including a double, drew a walk and drove in a run. Right fielder Mickey McDonald collected 3 hits, and center fielder Jameson Hannah drew a walk and doubled in a run for the Ports. Starter Brady Feigl allowed 3 runs over 5 frames and left with the game a 3-3 tie, but RHP Sam Sheehan gave up 4 runs, 3 earned, in 2/3 of an inning of relief to suffer his 2nd loss for Stockton.

The Snappers were shut out on just 6 hits on Tuesday. RHP Adam Reuss turned in a solid start for Beloit, allowing just 1 unearned run on 1 hit over 4 2/3 frames, but he still ended up suffering his 2nd loss for the Snappers. His tandem-pitcher partner, RHP Bryce Nightengale, was charged with 6 runs in just 1 inning of work for Beloit, while left fielder Payton Squier singled, walked and stole a base for the Snappers.
