Last year’s 8th-round draft pick for the A’s threw 6 scoreless and hitless frames while issuing just 1 walk and notching 9 strikeouts to earn the win. Braun has now allowed just 2 earned runs in 17 innings of over his last 3 starts for Stockton. RHP Dominic Mauro tossed 1 scoreless inning and allowed Visalia’s only hit in the game, while RHP Mason Patel and RHP Jackson Holmes each threw a scoreless frame, with Holmes picking up the save for the Ports.
