RHP Joey Estes turned in an excellent start to lead Las Vegas to its fifth straight win on Wednesday. The 24-year-old righty allowed 1 run on just 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 6 through 6 innings of work to earn the victory for Las Vegas. Estes threw 87 pitches, 57 for strikes. RHP Geoff Hartlieb, LHP Matt Krook and RHP Tyler Ferguson each tossed a scoreless inning in relief, with Ferguson picking up the save for the Aviators. Left fielder Cade Marlowe slugged a solo shot and drew a walk, while first baseman Joey Meneses singled, walked and scored a run in the win. Las Vegas is currently tied with Sacramento for first place in their division.
