The Aviators put 14 runs on the board, but it wasn’t enough to keep Las Vegas from losing its third straight on Tuesday. Right fielder Trenton Brooks led the Aviators attack. The 27-year-old outfielder, who was signed as a minor league free agent in the offseason, collected 4 hits, including a double and a three-run homer, and drove in 4 runs in the game, and he’s now hitting .333 during the month of May. Left fielder Conner Capel singled, doubled, homered, drew a walk and stole a base, while catcher Yohel Pozo singled, walked and homered. Center fielder Max Schuemann had 3 hits, including a double, and drove in a run, and third baseman Jordan Diaz singled twice, doubled and drove in 3 for the Aviators. RHP Aaron Wilkerson made the start and allowed 3 runs in 2 2/3 innings of work, while RHP Spencer Patton gave up 3 runs in 1 inning of relief to suffer the loss for Las Vegas.
