Despite putting 10 runs on the board, Las Vegas still dropped its second straight to Reno on Saturday. Center fielder Cal Stevenson reached base 4 times, collecting 3 hits, including a double, drawing a walk and driving in 2 runs, while right fielder JJ Bleday singled, tripled, walked, drove in a run and scored twice. Shortstop Kevin Smith drilled a three-run homer and drew a walk, and designated hitter Dermis Garcia had a pair of doubles, drove in a run and scored twice for the Aviators. RHP Jack Cushing had a shaky start on Saturday, giving up 7 runs in 3 1/3 innings of work to suffer the loss for Las Vegas. RHP Luis Medina is set to make the start for the Aviators on Sunday.
