Right fielder Denzel Clarke’s big bat led Stockton to victory for the second straight night on Friday. Last year’s 4^th-round draft pick for the A’s singled, slugged a pair of home runs, stole a base, scored 4 runs and drove in 4 runs on the night. And the 21-year-old is now 7 for 10 with 3 home runs over his last pair of games for the Ports. Last year’s top draft pick for the A’s, shortstop Max Muncy, singled, walked and slugged a grand slam in the 4^th inning, while designated hitter Kevin Richards homered in the 1^st, singled twice and drove in 3 runs, and catcher CJ Rodriguez slugged a solo shot in the 7^th for Stockton. A’s RHP James Kaprielian allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, including a pair of home runs, while walking none and striking out 6 over 5 innings of work to post the win for the Ports.
