The RockHounds recorded a one-run win to snap their three-game losing streak on Friday. Shortstop Nick Allen collected 3 hits to notch his fifth straight multi-hit game and raise his batting average to .326. The 22-year-old infielder also stole a base, scored twice and singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 8th for the RockHounds. Third baseman Logan Davidson also had 3 hits, while left fielder Devin Foyle tripled and walked, and designated hitter Jhonny Santos singled twice and drove in a run for the RockHounds. Starter Kyle Friedrichs allowed just 1 run over 5 frames, while RHP Aiden McIntyre permitted 1 run in 2 innings of relief. RHP Jack Weisenburger picked up the win despite giving up the tying run in the top of the 8th, and LHP Aaron Brown pitched a perfect 9th to post the save for Midland.
