Las Vegas put double digits on the board for the third straight night on Sunday to sweep its three-game road series with El Paso. RHP Paul Blackburn turned in an outstanding start, throwing 7 shutout innings to earn his 8th victory for Las Vegas. First baseman Seth Brown homered twice for the second straight night to lift his team-leading home run total to 27, and Brown has now belted 6 home runs in his last 4 games for the Aviators. Shortstop Jorge Mateo homered, doubled, drove in a pair and tallied his team-leading 20th stolen base, while catcher Sean Murphy singled, walked and homered to give him 5 round-trippers in his last 3 games, and right fielder Stephen Piscotty singled and slugged a two-run homer in his second rehab game with Las Vegas.

And Friedrichs has now given up just 1 earned run in 19 innings over his last 3 starts for Midland. RHP Jesus Zambrano tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief to register his 3rd save. Second baseman Nate Mondou singled, doubled and scored twice, while shortstop Edwin Diaz doubled in a pair of runs for the RockHounds.
