Second baseman Bobby Boser helped the RockHounds register their second straight win over the Missions on Wednesday. Last year’s 11th-round draft pick for the A’s went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double and drove in 2 runs and scored 2 runs. He’s now 5 for 8 with 5 RBIs over his last pair of games for Midland. Right fielder Cameron Leary tripled, doubled and scored twice, while center fielder Cole Conn singled, walked twice, scored twice and swiped a pair of bases, and shortstop Leo De Vries singled, walked, scored a run and also swiped a pair of bases, which now gives him a total of 30 stolen bases on the season. Starter Corey Avant allowed 4 runs through 4 1/3 frames, while RHP Jake Garland tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief to record the win for the RockHounds.
