Left fielder Devin Taylor had a big game to help lead the RockHounds to victory over the RoughRiders on Saturday. Last year’s 2^nd-round pick for the A’s reached base 4 times, slugging a pair of home runs and drawing a pair of walks, and he’s now batting .344 with 7 home runs in 23 games since his promotion to Double-A Midland. Shortstop Leo De Vries singled, tagged his 10^th home run and drove in a pair. Starter Henry Baez was charged with 2 runs on just 1 hit and 2 walks while notching 7 strikeouts through 4 1/3 frames, and RHP Jake Garland pitched 2 perfect innings in relief to record the win for the RockHounds.
