Center fielder Cade Marlowe had a big night to lead Las Vegas to its third straight victory on Tuesday. Marlowe went 3 for 5 with a three-run homer in the 2nd inning, an RBI single in the 6th and a two-run single in the 9th, giving him 6 RBI on the night. Marlowe was also hit by a pitch and stole a base in the game, and he now leads the Aviators with 20 stolen bases and leads all A’s minor leaguers with 37 extra-base hits. Shortstop Drew Swift singled, walked 3 times and scored 3 times, while catcher Brian Serven singled, doubled, drew a walk and drove in a run. Third baseman Colby Halter singled, walked twice, stole a base and scored a run, and second baseman Michael Stefanic went 3 for 6 and scored twice for the Aviators. Starter Joey Estes gave up 5 runs in 3 innings of work, while RHP Nick Hernandez pitched 2 perfect innings in relief to pick up the win, and RHP Wander Suero got the final four outs for Vegas to secure the save.
