Right fielder Devin Taylor had a big night at the plate to help the RockHounds snap their eight-game losing streak on Sunday. Last year’s 2nd-round draft pick for the A’s tagged a pair of two-run homers and added an RBI double, and the 22-year-old is now slugging .558 with 4 home runs in 12 games since his promotion to Midland earlier this month. Left fielder Clark Elliott, third baseman Bobby Boser and second baseman Euribiel Angeles all homered, while shortstop Leo De Vries homered, doubled and drove in a pair, and first baseman Colby Halter had 3 hits and 3 walks and scored 3 runs for the Hounds. Starter Jackson Finley allowed 4 runs through 4 frames, while RHP Jake Garland threw a scoreless inning in relief to record the win for the RockHounds.
