Designated hitter Shotaro Morii had a big night to help the Ports prevail over the Rawhide on Wednesday. The 19-year-old Morii singled, doubled, homered, drew a bases-loaded walk to bring home the winning run and ended up driving in 4 runs on the night. Morii is now 6 for 13 over his last 4 games for Stockton. Second baseman Bryan Andrade homered in the 1st inning, while left fielder Breyson Guedez doubled, drew a walk and stole a base, and right fielder Bobby Blandford doubled, drove in 3 runs and stole a base for Stockton. Starter Jackson Phipps allowed 4 runs through 4 frames, while RHP Robert Puason gave up 2 runs in 2 innings of relief, and RHP Kade Brown tossed 2 scoreless innings to pick up the win for the Ports.
