LHP Ryan Magdic turned in his most impressive outing of the season to lead Lansing to its fifth straight victory on Friday. The A’s 14th-round pick in 2024 allowed 1 run on just 3 hits and 1 walk while notching a career-high 9 strikeouts through 7 innings of work to earn the win for Lansing. Magdic threw just 77 pitches, 58 of them for strikes. LHP Jack Mahoney notched the final out in the 9th to secure the save. Right fielder Carlos Pacheco singled twice, doubled, drew a pair of walks and scored 4 runs, while shortstop Ali Camarillo collected 3 hits and drove in 3 runs for the Lugnuts.
