Center fielder Cade Marlowe had a big night to lead Las Vegas to its fifth straight victory on Tuesday. The 28-year-old outfielder, who signed a minor league deal in the offseason, went 3 for 3 with a home run, a triple and a walk. He was also hit by a pitch, scored 3 runs and drove in a pair, and Marlowe now leads all A’s minor leaguers with 32 extra-base hits in 54 games this season. Third baseman Joshua Kuroda-Grauer singled, doubled, drove in a run and scored twice, while first baseman Joey Meneses singled twice, drove in a run and scored a run, and designated hitter Michael Stefanic singled, drew a walk, drove in a run and scored a run for the Aviators. RHP Yunior Tur made the start and allowed just 1 unearned run through 4 frames, while LHP CD Pelham tossed 2 scoreless innings to pick up the win, and RHP Michael Kelly notched the last three outs in the 9th to secure the save for Las Vegas.
