RHP Kade Morris turned in an excellent start to lead Las Vegas to its fourth victory in its last five games on Thursday. The 23-year-old hurler threw 6 scoreless innings, allowing just 2 hits while issuing 4 walks and notching 6 strikeouts to earn his 4^th win for the Aviators. His 45 strikeouts are currently the fifth-most in the Pacific Coast League. LHP Matt Krook and RHP Elvis Alvarado each tossed a scoreless inning in relief, while RHP Nick Anderson allowed Albuquerque’s only run of the night in the 9^th. Center fielder Cade Marlowe had another big night, going 3 for 5 with a home run and a pair of doubles while driving in 6 runs. Second baseman Joshua Kuroda-Grauer singled, doubled, tripled, drove in a run and scored 3 times, while third baseman Brett Harris went 4 for 4 and drove in a pair, and designated hitter Joey Meneses singled, doubled, drew a walk and drove in a run for the Aviators.
