RHP Zane Taylor led Lansing to a seven-hit shutout win over Fort Wayne on Friday. The 23-year-old righty, who was the A’s 5th-round draft pick last year, tossed 4 1/3 scoreless frames in his second start of the season. He wasn’t terribly efficient, throwing 75 pitches in the outing, but he ran his scoreless streak to 9 1/3 innings to start the season. RHPs Ryan Brown and Jose Dicochea each tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief, with Brown picking up the win, while LHP Riley Huge threw 1 1/3 scoreless frames to secure the save. Catcher Davis Diaz doubled twice, drew a walk and drove in a run, while left fielder Devin Taylor doubled and drove in a pair of runs for the Lugnuts.
