RHP Sam Stuhr turned in his second straight quality start to lead Stockton to its fourth straight win over Lake Elsinore on Saturday. Last year’s 5th-round draft pick for the A’s allowed just 2 runs and struck out 7 through 6 innings of work to pick up the win for the Ports. Stuhr threw 90 pitches, 56 for strikes. RHP Felix Castro gave up 3 runs, 2 earned, in 2 innings of relief, while this year’s 18th-round pick, RHP Jay Dill, got the final three outs to secure the save for Stockton. Shortstop Bobby Boser singled twice, walked twice and drove in 4 runs, while center fielder Bobby Blandford singled twice, walked, was hit by a pitch and scored 3 runs, and designated hitter Devin Taylor singled, drew 3 walks and scored 3 times for the Ports.
