On a day when all the A’s affiliates went down to defeat, left fielder Cameron Leary turned in the top performance in the system. Last year’s 10th-round draft pick for the A’s went 3 for 3, slugging a solo shot in the 6th inning to provide Lansing with its sole run in the loss. And Leary has now gone 6 for 9 over his last 3 games for the Lugnuts. Second baseman Casey Yamauchi collected Lansing’s only other hit in the loss. Starter Grant Judkins gave up 5 runs in 6 innings of work to suffer the loss for the Lugnuts.
