Second baseman Colby Halter helped the RockHounds register their seventh win in their last eight games on Tuesday. The 23-year-old infielder drew a bases-loaded walk with two outs in the 4th inning to bring home the tying run, then drilled a two-run double with two outs in the 5th inning to give the Hounds a four-run lead. Halter also drew two more walks, stole a base and scored a run in the game, and his .823 OPS is now best among all RockHounds regulars. Center fielder Junior Perez doubled, drew a walk, drove in a run and stole a base, while first baseman Luke Mann singled, walked twice and drove in a pair. Shortstop Joshua Kurdoa-Grauer singled, doubled, walked twice and scored twice and third baseman Tommy White singled twice and drove in a pair in their Double-A debuts. Starter Gage Jump, working on a pitch limit, was charged with 1 unearned run and struck out 4 in 2 1/3 innings of work, while RHP Chen Zhong-Ao Zhuang allowed just 1 run over 4 frames to record the win for the RockHounds. In addition to Kuroda-Grauer and White, outfielder Nate Nankil and catcher CJ Rodriguez were also added to the RockHounds roster on Tuesday, while catcher Lyle Lin was released.
