RHP Grant Judkins turned in an outstanding start on Friday to help Lansing snap a six-game skid and earn its first win since the All-Star break. The 27-year-old righty allowed just 2 hits and 3 walks and struck out 7 while throwing 6 scoreless innings to earn his team-leading 6th win. Judkins also leads the squad with 82 strikeouts in 98 innings of work for the Lugnuts this season. RHP Wander Guante gave up 3 runs in 1 2/3 innings of relief, but RHP Mark Adamiak got the final four outs for Lansing to secure his 16th save. Shortstop Joshua Kuroda-Grauer went 4 for 5, scored a run and tallied his team-best 26th stolen base, while third baseman Tommy White and designated hitter Jared Dickey collected a pair of hits apiece for the Lugnuts.
