First baseman Brennan Milone had another big day at the plate and LHP Gage Jump turned in another strong start to help the RockHounds snap their four-game losing streak on Sunday. Milone pounded a pair of three-run homers, one in the 2^nd inning and another in the 3^rd, both coming with two outs. And after hitting 3 home runs in Thursday’s game, the 24-year-old has now gone 7 for 16 with 5 home runs and 9 RBIs over his last 4 games for Midland. Second baseman Colby Halter doubled twice, drew a walk, drove in a run and scored twice, while shortstop Euribiel Angeles went 3 for 5 with a double and scored 3 runs, and catcher Shane McGuire singled, doubled, drew a walk and drove in a run for the RockHounds. Meanwhile, Jump turned in his third straight strong start for Midland, allowing 2 runs on just 2 hits and 2 walks while striking out 6 in 6 innings of work to record his 3^rd win for the RockHounds.
