RHP Kyle Robinson turned in an outstanding start to lead Lansing to victory on Wednesday. Last year’s 11th-round draft pick for the A’s threw 6 scoreless and hitless innings while walking 3 and striking out 4 to earn his team-leading 3rd win, and Robinson has now compiled an ERA of 1.52 over his first 23 2/3 innings of work for the Lugnuts. Center fielder Clark Elliott singled, homered and drove in 3 runs, while designated hitter Jonny Butler singled, walked twice and scored a run. First baseman Darlyn Montero had a pair of hits, including a double, and shortstop Joshua Kuroda-Grauer singled twice, stole a base and drove in a run for the Lugnuts.
