Tuesday, April 29th: Colby Thomas Helps Lead Vegas to Victory while Gonzalez Wins for Hounds

Right fielder Colby Thomas helped lead the Aviators to their fourth straight victory on Tuesday. The 24-year-old outfielder singled and scored a run in the 2^nd inning. Then, with his team down by a pair of runs in the bottom of the 8^th, Thomas tagged a two-run homer to tie the game. Left fielder Drew Avans then singled in the winning run with one out in the bottom of the 9^th as Las Vegas notched the walk-off win. Catcher Willie MacIver singled, doubled, drew a walk and drove in a run, while first baseman Logan Davidson had a pair of hits to raise his batting average to .348, and designated hitter Zack Gelof went 0 for 2 with a walk in his first rehab game with the Aviators. Starter Mason Barnett allowed 4 runs through 5 frames, while LHP Matt Krook tossed a scoreless inning in the top of the 9^th to pick up the victory for Las Vegas.
