Last Friday, we reported on X.com the list of 20 non-roster players that the A’s have invited to spring training this year. And on Tuesday, the A’s officially announced that list. Below are the 20 non-roster players who’ll be joining the A’s in big league camp this spring.

–CATCHERS–

Daniel Susac

Willie MacIver

With Shea Langeliers and Kyle McCann expected to return as the A’s catching corps this season, former 1st-round pick Daniel Susac and minor league free agent signee Willie MacIver are likely to start the season behind the dish at Triple-A Las Vegas.

–INFIELDERS–

Max Muncy

Logan Davidson

Alejo Lopez

Nick Kurtz

Former 1st-round pick Max Muncy could end up getting a chance to be the A’s primary third baseman before the season’s through, but he’ll likely start the year gaining some experience at the hot corner while also continuing to hone his skills at shortstop for Triple-A Las Vegas. Fellow 1st-round pick Logan Davidson is expected to start the season playing multiple positions again for Las Vegas, while free agent signee Alejo Lopez is expected to start the season primarily playing second base for Las Vegas. The A’s most recent 1st-round pick, Nick Kurtz, is likely to start the season playing first base for Double-A Midland, but there’s no telling how quickly he might move.

–OUTFIELDERS–

Colby Thomas

Drew Avans

Carlos Cortes

Henry Bolte

Colby Thomas could earn himself a trial in the A’s outfield before the season’s through, but he’s likely to start the year back in the outfield for Las Vegas. Minor league free agent signees Drew Avans and Carlos Cortes are also expected to begin the season in the Las Vegas outfield. Meanwhile, Henry Bolte is likely to start the season back at Double-A Midland before hopefully earning himself a promotion to Las Vegas by the season’s second half.

–PITCHERS–

Jason Alexander

Tanner Dodson

Matt Krook

Ben Bowden

CD Pelham

Pedro Santos

Chen Zhuang

Domingo Robles

Jack Perkins

Mason Barnett

Half of the A’s non-roster pitchers who received spring training invites were minor league free agent signees this offseason. This group includes righty starter Jason Alexander, righty reliever Tanner Dodson and lefty relievers Matt Krook, Ben Bowden and CD Pelham, all of whom are expected to start the season on the Triple-A Las Vegas pitching staff. Hard-throwing reliever Pedro Santos is bound to start the season back in the Las Vegas bullpen. Starters Chen Zhuang and Domingo Robles both turned in solid seasons in 2024, while righties Jack Perkins and Mason Barnett are currently considered to be two of the A’s top starting pitching prospects.
