In his first start of the season on Saturday, RHP Jack Cushing tossed 5 perfect innings to help the RockHounds record their seventh win in their last eight games. Cushing struck out 6 while facing the minimum 15 batters through 5 frames, throwing just 53 pitches, 37 for strikes, to earn his 2nd win for the RockHounds. RHP Chase Cohen tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief, while RHP Seth Elledge pitched a perfect 8th, and RHP Grant Holman threw a scoreless 9th to complete the two-hit shutout. Third baseman Cooper Bowman singled, doubled, walked twice, stole a base and drove in a pair, while second baseman Brennan Milone had 4 hits, including a double, and drove in 2 runs.
