Las Vegas won its third straight to split its six-game series with Tacoma on Tuesday, and the team has scored a total of 43 runs over its last three victories. Center fielder Cody Thomas led the way for Las Vegas on Tuesday. The 26-year-old slugged a pair of solo shots, hitting a game-tying homer in the 3rd inning before adding his second round-tripper of the night in the 7th, and Thomas is now sporting a slugging percentage of .661 for the Aviators. First baseman Frank Schwindel had 3 hits, including his 16th home run of the season, a three-run shot, to tie him for the league lead, while left fielder Jacob Wilson doubled and drilled a two-run homer. Designated hitter Francisco Pena singled and slugged a solo shot, and right fielder Greg Deichmann singled, doubled, drew a walk and drove in 3 runs for Las Vegas. LHP Jesus Luzardo made the start and was charged with 1 unearned run while allowing 2 hits and 2 walks and striking out 4 over 3 innings of work. Luzardo threw 50 pitches on Tuesday, 26 of them for strikes. LHP A.J. Puk gave up 4 runs, 3 earned, on a pair of home runs in 1 2/3 innings of relief, while RHP James Naile notched the final out in the 5th to pick up the victory for Las Vegas. Rehabbing RHP J.B. Wendelken surrendered a home run in 1 inning of relief, while RHP Grant Holmes hurled a scoreless frame, and LHP Reymin Guduan pitched a perfect 9th for the Aviators. Meanwhile, infielder/outfielder Marty Bechina was reassigned from the RockHounds to the Aviators on Tuesday.

The RockHounds fell for the third time in their last four games on Tuesday. Starter Jared Koenig allowed 4 runs over 5 frames to suffer the loss, while RHP Aiden McIntyre tossed 2 scoreless innings of relief in his Midland debut. Left fielder Devin Foyle doubled, drew a walk and scored a run, while second baseman Nick Allen singled twice and stole a base, and third baseman Jeremy Eierman doubled in the RockHounds’ sole run in the loss.

Stockton hung on to notch a one-run victory and win its fourth straight on Tuesday. Second baseman Joshwan Wright collected 3 hits, including a double, and drove in a run, while first baseman Lawrence Butler singled and homered, and catcher Tyler Soderstrom tagged a two-run homer in the top of the 1st inning to put the Ports on the board. Starting pitcher Daniel Palencia allowed 1 run while throwing 42 pitches in just 1 1/3 innings of work, while tandem starter Osvaldo Berrios gave up 3 runs over 5 2/3 frames to pick up the win, and RHP Jose Mora tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief to secure the save for Stockton.
