After losing in extra innings on Tuesday, the RockHounds won in an 11-inning walk-off on Wednesday. Right fielder Devin Foyle singled in the tying run in the bottom of the 9th inning to send the game to extra innings and then stepped to the plate and singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 11th for the RockHounds. Left fielder Tyler Ramirez had 3 hits, including a double, drew a walk and drove in a run in the 10th, while second baseman Marty Bechina doubled, drew a walk and scored a run, and center fielder Jhonny Santos singled, drove in a pair and scored a run for the RockHounds. Starting pitcher Bryce Conley allowed 2 runs over 5 1/3 frames, while RHP Montana DuRapau returned from the injured list to throw 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief, and RHP Zach Jackson tossed a scoreless frame in the top of the 11th to record the win for the RockHounds. Meanwhile, catcher JJ Schwarz landed on the injured list, while infielder Nick Allen was placed on the temporarily inactive list, and catcher Matt Cross and infielder Yerdel Vargas were both added to the RockHounds roster.

The Lugnuts suffered a 5-2 loss to the Loons on Wednesday. Starting pitcher Brady Basso allowed 5 runs, 4 earned, over 3 frames to take the loss, while tandem starter Shohei Tomioka contributed 3 scoreless innings for Lansing. Shortstop Max Schuemann continued his hot hitting, collecting 3 hits, including a double, while driving in a run and stealing a pair of bases to increase his team-leading total to 13. And Schuemann’s 1.063 OPS is good for second best in the league.

Stockton suffered its fourth straight loss on Wednesday. Starting pitcher Jose Dicochea gave up 4 runs in just 2/3 of an inning of work to take the loss, while tandem starter Daniel Martinez allowed 1 run over 2 1/3 innings for Stockton. First baseman Lawrence Butler singled, doubled, drew a walk, drove in a pair and scored twice, while second baseman Sahid Valenzuela singled, doubled and walked, and left fielder Brayan Buelvas drew a walk and had a pair of hits for the Ports.
