Second baseman Franklin Barreto led Las Vegas to a one-run victory over Iowa as the Aviators notched their fourth win in their last five games on Saturday. Barreto walked and scored a run in the 2nd inning, singled in a pair of runs in 5th, and then slugged his 13th home run in the 8th to break a 5-5 tie and provide the margin of victory for Vegas. Left fielder Seth Brown drew a walk, singled in a run and hit his 32nd home run to tie him for the league lead, while first baseman Eric Campbell singled, doubled and drew a pair of walks, and third baseman Sheldon Neuse singled, walked, stole a base and scored a run for Las Vegas. Starter Daniel Mengden allowed 3 runs over 5 frames, while LHP A.J. Puk picked up the win despite giving up 2 runs on 2 hits, including a home run, while walking one and striking out 3 in 1 1/3 innings of relief. RHP J.B. Wendelken got the final five outs for the Aviators to secure the save on Saturday.

The RockHounds recorded their third straight win over Corpus Christi on Saturday. Starter Daulton Jefferies gave up 1 run in 3 innings of work, while RHP James Kaprielian was outstanding in relief, allowing just 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out a pair over 4 scoreless frames to register his 1st win for the RockHounds. RHP Wandisson Charles tossed a scoreless 8th, and RHP Jesus Zambrano pitched a perfect 9th to notch his 4th save for Midland. Left fielder Chase Calabuig singled, drew a pair of walks and drove in 2 runs, while catcher Cooper Goldby singled, walked twice and scored a run. Second baseman Nate Mondou doubled and drew a walk, and shortstop Mikey White singled in a pair of runs for the RockHounds.

LHP Jesus Luzardo made the start and led Stockton to a two-hit shutout victory on Saturday. Luzardo struck out 7 while throwing 3 scoreless and hitless innings, and the only baserunner against him on Saturday reached on an error. Luzardo threw 43 pitches, 26 for strikes, and his fastball reached as high as 97 mph. He was replaced on the mound by RHP Michael Danielak, who tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win for the Ports. LHP Ty Damron contributed 1 2/3 scoreless frames, and LHP Will Gilbert got the final six outs for Stockton to complete the shutout on Saturday. Shortstop Jeremy Eierman doubled, walked twice, stole a base and scored a run, while center fielder Yhoelnys Gonzalez singled, doubled, drew a walk and drove in a run for the Ports.

The Snappers suffered a one-run loss to Cedar Rapids on Saturday. LHP Jhenderson Hurtado turned in a strong start, allowing just 1 unearned run while striking out 9 over 5 frames, and he left the game with a one-run lead. But RHP Brandon Withers gave up 4 runs in 1 1/3 innings of relief to take the loss. Shortstop Marcos Brito had a pair of hits, including a double, and drew a walk, while right fielder Nick Osborne singled, walked twice and drove in a run, and left fielder Lester Madden and first baseman Max Schuemann each singled, doubled and scored a run for the Snappers.
