Third baseman Luke Mann had a big night at the plate to lead Las Vegas to its fifth straight victory on Friday. The 26-year-old infielder went 4 for 5 with a home run and a double while driving in 4 runs for the Aviators, and he’s now hitting .360 with 3 home runs in 8 games since being promoted to Las Vegas. Catcher Cole Conn tripled, doubled, singled twice and scored 4 runs, while second baseman Jack Winkler had 3 hits, stole a base, drew a walk, drove in a run and scored twice, and center fielder Denzel Clarke went 1 for 3 with a triple, drew a walk and drove in a run for the Aviators. Starter Joey Estes was charged with 3 runs in 2 2/3 innings of work, while RHP Jared Johnson tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the victory for Las Vegas.
