Last year’s top draft pick for the A’s threw 5 2/3 scoreless frames, allowing just 2 hits and 2 walks while notching 9 strikeouts to earn the win. Arnold has now notched 105 strikeouts in 96 innings of work this season and has compiled a 2.08 ERA over his last 5 starts for Midland.
