Third Baseman Luke Mann had a big day at the plate to help the Ports prevail over Visalia on Sunday. The 24-year-old, who was the A’s 14th-round pick last year, homered and clubbed a pair of doubles, while driving in a pair of runs and scoring twice in the game, and Mann now leads the squad with 27 hits and 14 runs while also boasting a team-best batting average of .303. Catcher Nick Schwartz collected a pair of hits, and center fielder Ryan Lasko doubled in a run for the Ports. Starter Jackson Finley allowed just 1 run and struck out 8 over 4 1/3 frames, while LHP Diego Barrera came on to notch the final two outs in the 5th inning to pick up the win, and RHP Yunior Tur tossed 4 scoreless frames to secure the save for Stockton.
