Las Vegas secured its third straight victory over Salt Lake on Sunday. RHP Osvaldo Bido turned in a strong start, throwing 5 shutout innings while allowing just 3 hits and notching 9 strikeouts to earn his 2nd victory for Las Vegas. Catcher Tyler Soderstrom slugged a two-run homer in the 8th inning to provide what would prove to be a much-needed cushion for the Aviators. He also doubled and scored a run in the 1st inning, while designated hitter Esteury Ruiz and center fielder Hoy Park both belted solo shots in the 1st, and third baseman Armando Alvarez tagged a two-run homer in the 7th. Shortstop Max Muncy had a pair of hits, stole a base and scored a run, and right fielder Stephen Piscotty singled, drew a walk and drove in a run to help the Aviators secure the victory.
