Third baseman Logan Davidson, first baseman Lawrence Butler and designated hitter Greg Deichmann all homered to help the RockHounds register a one-run win and snap a nine-game losing streak on Thursday. Davidson collected 4 hits in the game, including a 1st inning home run to put Midland on the board. The former 1st-round pick also singled and scored a run in the 7th, singled in a run in the RockHounds’ big three-run 8th, and also singled in the Hounds game-winning rally in the 9th. And Davidson is now 10 for 24 with 6 extra-base hits and 8 RBIs over his last 6 games for Midland. Lawrence Butler, making his first appearance at first base this season, slugged a solo shot in the 6th and doubled and scored a run in the 8th, while Deichmann tagged a two-run homer in the 7th and also singled in a run in the 8th. Starter Jack Cushing allowed 5 runs over 4 1/3 frames, while RHP Trey Supak tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief to record the win for the RockHounds.
