Stockton snapped its three-game losing streak by securing a victory over Visalia on Tuesday. Left fielder Lazaro Armenteros led the way by collecting 3 hits, including a double, driving in a pair of runs and swiping a base for Stockton. Lazarito is now batting .400, which ties him for the third-best average in the league, and has stolen 6 bases, which gives him the fourth-highest total in the league. Catcher Tyler Soderstrom singled twice, doubled and drove in a run, while third baseman T.J. Schofield-Sam had a pair of hits, drew a walk and drove in a run for the Ports. Starting pitcher David Leal gave up 3 runs, 2 earned, over 4 frames, while tandem starter Osvaldo Berrios allowed 2 runs over 5 innings of work to earn the win for Stockton.

Las Vegas surrendered 18 runs on Tuesday to suffer the loss in the final match of its six-game series at Reno. Starter Parker Dunshee allowed 5 runs over 4 1/3 frames to take the loss, while RHPs Ben Bracewell and Miguel Romero permitted 5 runs apiece, and RHP James Naile gave up 3 runs in the loss. The only Las Vegas pitcher not charged with a run in the game was infielder Nate Mondou, who came in to pitch a scoreless 8th for the Aviators. First baseman Frank Schwindel, designated hitter Austin Allen and catcher Carlos Perez each homered to provide all the scoring for Las Vegas in the loss.

The RockHounds were shut out on just one hit in a seven-inning contest on Tuesday. LHP Ty Damron gave up 5 runs in 5 frames to suffer the loss, while center fielder Jhonny Santos singled with two outs in the top of the 6th inning to break up the perfect game and provide the Hounds’ only hit of the night.

Lansing’s lineup continued to struggle as the Lugnuts fell for the fourth time in their last five games on Tuesday. Starter Rafael Kelly was charged with 5 runs, just 1 earned, to suffer the loss for Lansing, while third baseman Jordan Diaz homered to provide the Lugnuts’ sole run in the loss.
