Tuesday, October 1st:
Center fielder Greg Deichmann went 2 for 5 with a double and scored a run, while RHP Jesus Zambrano tossed 1 scoreless inning in Mesa’s 4-0 shutout win on Tuesday.
Wednesday, October 2nd:
First baseman Alfonso Rivas went 1 for 3 with 2 walks, while second baseman Nick Allen went 1 for 5 and scored a run in Mesa’s 8-7 loss on Wednesday.
Thursday, October 3rd:
No games scheduled.
Friday, October 4th:
First baseman Alfonso Rivas went 1 for 4 and scored a run, while center fielder Greg Deichmann went 0 for 5, and RHP Brady Feigl tossed 1 scoreless inning in relief as Mesa lost 6-5 in 10 innings on Friday.
Saturday, October 5th:
Starter Daniel Gossett allowed 1 run in 3 innings to earn the win, while LHP Jhenderson Hurtado & RHP Jesus Zambrano each tossed 1 scoreless inning in relief. Right fielder Greg Deichmann went 1 for 1 with 2 walks and scored a run, while designated hitter Nick Allen went 1 for 1 with a walk, and first baseman Alfonso Rivas went 0 for 3 in Mesa’s 2-1 win over Mexicali in Mexicali, Mexico on Saturday.
Sunday, October 6th:
Center fielder Greg Deichmann went 1 for 4 and hit his league-leading 5th home run to provide the winning run in Mesa’s 4-2 win on Sunday.
