RHP Brady Feigl turned in one of his most impressive starts of the season to lead Stockton to a shutout win on Wednesday. Last year’s 5th-round draft pick for the A’s notched 9 strikeouts while walking none over 8 scoreless innings to post his 4th win for the Ports. RHP Nick Highberger pitched a perfect 9th to complete the seven-hit shutout for Stockton. First baseman Alfonso Rivas had a pair of hits, while left fielder Lazaro Armenteros doubled in a run, and catcher Jordan Devencenzi doubled in a pair for the Ports.

Starter Parker Dunshee was charged with 6 runs, 5 earned, in just 2 1/3 innings of work to suffer his 3rd loss for Las Vegas on Wednesday. For the second straight night, first baseman Corban Joseph collected 3 hits, including an RBI double, to raise his team-best batting average to .355, and he’s now hitting .438 with 5 extra-base hits and 6 RBIs over last 8 games for Las Vegas. Designated hitter Seth Brown belted his team-best 14th home run, while catcher Beau Taylor and second baseman Jorge Mateo both slugged solo shots in the loss.

Dairon Blanco led the RockHounds to a win in extra innings on Wednesday. The center fielder slugged a three-run homer in the top of the 10th to provide the margin of victory for Midland. Blanco also tripled and scored a run in the 4th, while second baseman Brallan Perez had 3 hits, including a double, drew a walk and drove in a pair, and catcher Collin Theroux drew a walk and doubled in a run for the RockHounds. Starter Brian Howard allowed 4 runs over 5 frames, while RHP Jesus Zambrano picked up the win despite giving up 2 runs, 1 earned, in the bottom of the 10th, and RHP Kyle Finnegan notched the final out to record his 8th save for the RockHounds.

The Snappers suffered their fifth loss in their last six games on Wednesday. Starter Aiden McIntyre struck out 7 but was charged with 3 unearned runs in 3 innings of work to take the loss for the Snappers. Left fielder Logan Farrar had a pair of hits and drove in a run, while right fielder Anthony Churlin singled, walked, stole a base and scored twice, and designated hitter Lester Madden doubled in a run for Beloit. In other news, it was announced on Wednesday that Snappers pitchers Aiden McIntyre and Eric Marinez have been named to the Midwest League All-Star roster.
