The Aviators won their third straight on Wednesday to run their record to 6-1 this season. RHP Kyle Buchanan, who was signed as a minor league free agent in the offseason, turned in an outstanding start, allowing just 1 unearned run on 3 hits while striking out 6 over 6 innings to earn his 2nd victory for Las Vegas. RHP Ryan Dull replaced Triggs on the mound and tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings of relief to record the save for the Aviators. Center fielder Skye Bolt doubled in a run, drew a walk and stole a base, while third baseman Sheldon Neuse doubled and drew a walk. First baseman Seth Brown walked and singled in a run, and left fielder Mark Payton doubled in a run for Vegas in the victory.
