Stockton was shut out on just two hits in the decisive game of its best-of-five playoff series versus Visalia on Sunday to see its season come to an end. Starter Matt Milburn surrendered 3 runs in 2 innings of work to suffer the loss, while relievers Jake Bray, Andrew Tomasovich, Sam Sheehan, Pat Krall and Angel Duno combined to toss 7 scoreless innings in relief for Stockton. Second baseman Brallan Perez and left fielder Luke Persico both singled to provide the Ports’ only hits in the loss. Stockton finished the regular season with a record of 77-63.
